Your Roof Is Hiding Things You Can't See From the Ground

We hear it often: “It looked fine from the street.” And from the ground, it probably did.

The truth is, some important parts of your roof simply can’t be seen from the driveway. During inspections, we may find unsealed nails pulling out of the decking, cracked pipe boots around plumbing vents, deteriorated flashing, improperly installed underlayment at the drip edge that can allow moisture to wick behind the fascia, or early granule loss as shingles age.

None of these may be obvious from the street, but they can still affect how well your roof protects your home.
